Nimble usually doesn't make it to the end, either. If this happens, you may as well start a new game if you want to complete all the optional tasks. Subsequently, I've had games where the attack came as early as 10:30 AM on the first day, leaving Tolik, Wolf, and Musician all dead.
The military attacks the village at random times without warning or provocation. I recommend taking these tasks as early in the game as possible. Also, fix2 contains a fix for a bug that can keep you from throwing a grenade if you hold it too long. These contain fixes for some of the optional task that you may not be able to complete otherwise. NOTE: Be sure you have STALKER_OGSE_0693_Patch_2_10_Revised patch and STALKER_OGSE_0693_Patch_2_10_Revised_fix2.
